Scholarship Policy
Fellow College of Professional Studies aims towards developing human resource to contribute positively towards our society. Scholarships will be granted to bright & deserving students who are best able to achieve this aim.
Fellow College of Professional Studies offers scholarships to deserving students in the form of Fee Waiver / Fee Discounts.
In accordance with Higher Education Commission (HEC) guidelines, 10% of the total enrolled students will be awarded scholarships. The allocation will be based on the following categories:
1. MERIT-BASED SCHOLARSHIP
Awarded to students with outstanding educational results. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd, in the class may be awarded merit based academic scholarships. Merit based academic scholarships are intended mainly for the
encouragement & moral boosting of the students. Academic scholarship letter will be provided to the students achieving this scholarship for future reference.
2. NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is awarded to students from financially disadvantaged backgrounds. Requires submission of income proof or financial hardship documentation. In case of multiple applicants, students with highest merit (educational board results) will be awarded this scholarship.
3. REMOTE AREAS QUOTA
Remote area scholarships are reserved for the students belonging to underdeveloped or remote regions of Pakistan such as Ex-FATA, Gilgit Baltistan (GB), entire Baluchistan province, Southern Punjab, AJK & interior Sindh. Applicants must provide a domicile certificate and the result from the educational board of any of these areas to qualify for this scholarship. In case of multiple applicants, students with highest merit (educational board results) will be awarded this scholarship.
4. ORPHAN SCHOLARSHIP
Orphan scholarships are granted to students who have lost their father or both parents. In case of multiple applicants, students with highest merit (educational board results) will be awarded this scholarship. Proof such as a death certificate of the father/parent(s) is required.
5. KINSHIP SCHOLARSHIP POLICY
Blood relations find it easier to handle financial, logistical and administrative matters if they receive education from the same institution. “Kinship Scholarship Policy” of Fellow College of Professional Studies provides discounts to siblings (brothers & sisters) if are studying in the same educational institution. NARDA certificate & ORIGINAL CNIC are required as proof of kinship.
NOTE:
Fellow College of Professional Studies reserves the right to ultimately determine / decide the suitability of any of the above categories of scholarships for the students Fellow College of Professional Studies.
